Visit this historic town just over 1.5 hours’ drive from Melbourne for the Chinese New Year Melbourne Festival and experience a showcase of performances presented by the Bendigo Chinese Association at the Dai Gum San Chinese Precinct.

The Chinese called the goldfields in the heart of Victoria Dai Gum San, Big Gold Mountain; a place of untold wealth and promise. For the Chinese New Year Melbourne Festival, the Dai Gum San Chinese Precinct which links the Golden Dragon Museum with the Yi Yuan Gardens and Kuan Yin Temple will come alive with all the colour of Chinese New Year, including performances from the Plum Blossom Dancers. Listen out for the rhythmic sounds of drums, cymbals and gongs as flying dragon, Fei Loong, won’t be far behind!
