City of Melbourne

The Victorian Multicultural Commission was established in 1983 and is the voice of Victoria’s culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Informed by grassroots consultation and a network of Regional Advisory Committees, the Commission advocates to all levels of government, links multicultural communities with services, and hosts events that showcase and promote our state’s vibrant cultural diversity.

Museums Victoria

Museums Victoria is the largest museum organisation in Australasia and is responsible for the State’s 17 million scientific and cultural heritage collections, providing access through Melbourne Museum, IMAX, Scienceworks, Melbourne Planetarium, and the Immigration Museum. Museums Victoria also acts as custodian for the Royal Exhibition Building, the oldest and most complete surviving example of a 19th century international exhibition hall.
